    Hi Robert

I came across your blog through my Google Alerts and it immediately caught my attention as I went through a stem cell transplant for my Crohn’s in late 2007.

Seeing your video blogs brought back all my memories of my transplant journey. You appear to handling the process very well. Good luck with the harvest tomorrow. You’ll do fine I’m sure.

Please email me if you have any questions or just want to chat to a fellow patient. The transplant was pretty much trouble free for me with little or no side effects. I found the whole process more challenging psychologically than physically. Hang in there, take each day as it comes and before you know it you will find the “freedom” from your Crohns!

    Sincere best wishes,

I have just been offered this same stem cell transplant for my Crohns here in the UK, just waiting for the final confirmation from the PCT to fund it!!

You seem to be handling this all really well and i wish you well for the rest of the transplant.
